I'm no artist, I dabble in drawings. Whenever I use the word artist or art when referring to either myself or my creations rest assured that it's in the loosest meaning possible. Artists are dedicated to their work and spend hours upon hours practicing, refining and improving their art, keep to strict update schedules and always wish to please their viewers. I just put pencils to paper to see what happens.
Let me provide some background info in the form of a NAQ (figure it out..)
Why pokemans?!
They're easy to draw, a near infinite source of material and just look at them, they've had it coming for years! I just needed a few willing victims for my long overdue practice sessions and these take me about half an hour to an hour to draw.
How pokemans?
Since I don't care about them except for the lols value I wouldn't recognize a Pikasaur from a Jiggymander. I type "pokemon" into google, find an image I can work with, sketch something on a 300g/m² Canson Mixmedia pad with a mechanical pencil, ink with a 03 and 05 Letraset fineliner or whatever Micron pen I have at hand, erase the pencils and color with Letraset Promarkers (that I keep in my Artist Bag), add some details, scan and adjust gamma filter to 0.75 with IrfanView.
I can't give you any more details without including "I grab some coffee" and "whack my scanner to get it to work".
When pokemans?
I'll aim for at least a few drawings a week. Don't expect too much consistency in the schedule though. This is just a practice run and life might decide otherwise.
Pokésaurpuf only has 12 spikes on its nose, not 15!
Stop being 9 years old.
I want to give you moneys!
Are you out of your fucking mind!?
